Business need
Barburn LTD, a successful UK company, manages a network of cafes and pubs. Due to further growth and the addition of new establishments they needed to optimize and automate their processes, and create a web service which would handle their own businesses, as well as serve as an independent product for other companies with similar needs.
Challenge
The task was to create a compelling website, using all the existing business logic while adding more features facilitating the work with the application. There was no formal description of the end product, so the requirements were to be gathered in the process of communication.
Another challenge was the decision to use the most modern and up-to-date technologies from Microsoft, some of which were in beta versions at that time.
Solution
Binary Studio software and management professionals succeeded to create an application ideally matched to the needs of our client. We assigned three .NET developers to this project. One of whom was a senior, experienced developer with project management and team lead capabilities, the other two were good frontend and backend developers. This well planned combination built a team which created both a great looking and properly working solution.
We managed to effectively use our knowledge and experience and quickly became familiar with the new technologies. This allowed us to start producing results from the very first week of our cooperation.
In the end, we received a nice looking flexible application, written with the use of the most up-to-date technologies and corresponding to all the needs of our client. We are very happy about it.

Barburn was established to provide individual establishment owners and managers with access to the same powerful revenue management tools used by large bar, pub and restaurant chains.
