Business need
Investis Flife is the leading Specialist in Online Investor Relations and Management Reporting in Europe. They serve national and internationally listed companies in 19 countries. Their impressive list of clients includes such companies, as Deutsche Börse Group, Adidas Group, the Bayer Group, Deutsche Post AG (DHL), Siemens AG, Henkel AG & Co, TNT Holding B.V., Beiersdorf, Deutsche Telekom, Swisscom, and METRO AG.
Serving such major corporations, our client had a continuous need to further develop their software team, combined with demands for the highest quality. At the same time they wanted to optimize the development costs of their new software projects without compromising quality, create a smart team with good communication, and work within their company's processes.
Challenge
It was difficult to find the right developers with the best combination of price and quality. Development resources from their local companies were highly professional, but they were hard to find, employ--and they were very expensive.
So our client decided to optimize their costs in order to make their business more effective. Initially they chose other outsourcing options with some of our would be competitors. This created further challenges for Investis Flife.
Most companies looked almost identical, and some offered very low prices. But after trying several alternative options, additional problems appeared:
- Insufficient communication with client
- Outsource company barriers between developers and client
- Outsource company restrictions on direct project management by client
- Frequently changing developers on projects, and
- Poor quality resources
So the client's new outsourced specialists almost neutralized the benefits typically received by outsourcing with a professional team.
At this point Investis Flife started cooperation with Binary Studio.
Solution
Binary Studio professionals established (and maintain) long-term, trusted and extremely efficient relations, and built a full-scale virtual nearshore development center.
We continue to provide a stable and professional team, high quality resources at a reasonable price, with direct contact and management from our client.
So we can say that we have overcome their previous outsourcing risks and problems. And we're proud to say that we have been working with this company for more than 3 years. The the list of projects we've done together include core, highly critical applications where the quality is vital and extremely important.

Other projects were equally critical with demands for consistent, high quality. We're also very proud of our sucesses supporting Investis Flife with full management freedom, open communiation with their team, and our flexible integration of their processes. This began with the schedule of unit tests they did and finished with quarterly visits of our client managers.
